“Don’t believe for one moment that the Jewish State and Modern Zionism would have been possible without Christian Zionism. I think that the many Christian supporters of the rebirth of the Jewish State and the in gathering of the Jewish people in the 19th century made possible the rise of modern Jewish Zionism.”—Benjamin Netanyahu
So why all the hate Bibi?
Like me, Jews have very little respect for Evangelical Christian Zionists.
So little in fact, that a recent poll conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute demonstrated that Jews prefer Muslims! Yeah, Muslims.
Little Willy Hallowell of Glen Beck’s Zonist Daily Beast reported that:
“A new study revealed that Jews have less respect for us, and gratitude for our (Christian Zionist) efforts than we thought. It seems that in spite of all the hard work we put in to insure the security of Israel, they still harbour negative feelings for us.”
“American Jews have so much distrust and suspicion for evangelicals that it is raising eyebrows in many Christian Zionist communities. It is especially odd considering the fact that many Jews and Christians have been working together for some time now in support of the Israeli state.”
Well, there you have it.
Because American Christians are dumb enough to issue blanket support for the Israeli state and kiss the tails of a people that have reviled them for well over 2 millenia, that means Jews, with an average IQ well into the 120’s, are required to like them in return.
Jews know what we’ve known about Zio-Evangelicals for ages: they’re unstable and borderline mentally retarded. However, where WE have genuine goodness in our hearts & would love for Evangelicals to cross back over to our righteous movement, Zionists are callous, driven by hatred and power, and about as ethical as Bernie Madoff.
The poll originally published by Jewish Forward (JF) demonstrated that only one in five American Jews had a favourable opinion of America’s evangelical population. ONE in freaking FIVE! That was only slightly better than when the poll shifted to Israel.
The JF reported that:
“The survey, conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute, asked Jewish respondents to rate the favourability of several religious groups. Mormons received a 47% favourability rating, Muslims 41.4%; the group described as “Christian Right” was viewed in favourable terms by only 20.9% of Jewish Americans. In contrast, the general American population, as shown by other polling data, views evangelicals more favourably than Muslims and Mormons.
And these results are supposedly sending shock-waves through some faith communities and having folks second guess their allegiance. Sure they are…. (sarcasm)
No one has been more perturbed by the poll than International Fellowship of Christians and Jews founder and president Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, who claimed he was “stunned” when he learned of the poll.
Imagine, Talmudic Jews disliking the goyim they were taught to hate! What are the chances!
Eckstein told Haaretz that that he finds the results both “shocking and worrisome.” The rabbi, who has worked diligently to foster Jewish-evangelical relations for several generations,” isn’t taking the results lightly, calling the results, “concerning” three times during the interview.
Concerning because you might piss off your cash cow, Rabbi, and they’ll cancel a nine figure cheque? Or concerning because you genuinely CARE about the relationship.
I think we all know the answer.
“Most liberal Jews view the Christian right as wanting to impose a Christian America on them,” explained Marshall Breger, professor at the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. “To the extent to which the bulk of Jews are liberal, both politically and culturally, they’ll have negative views of the Christian right.”
Still, if the Evangelical right’s conservative stance on domestic issues is the sole reason behind the negativity, why do Jews hold ultra-conservative Muslims and Mormons in higher regard?
I smell camel dung. Jews loath Evangelicals because they have little love for America, use the right as their bitch and could care a less what some bible thumping Jethro thinks. As long as he’s voting for candidates that support the Jewish state, who gives a toss.
This one time, and one time only, we have to concur with the Jews. As much as we despise Zionists, our hatred towards the Zionist enabling cancerous evangelical right is FAR worse!
Anyone that gives blanket support to a group that for all intents and purposes hates them, has killed their country, is behind all the social ills/liberal policy they despise (think abortion, gun control, homosexual agenda etc) deserves what they get and warrants disdain.
Gifting Israel hundreds of billions in aid during a period when tens of millions of Americans are unemployed, unable to pay their bills and in some cases going hungry, is inconceivable.
The people facilitating this criminality are traitors. (Are people aware that if we cancelled aid to Israel, every last poor American -those deserving of course, wanting to attend a pubic university, could attend for free!)
On a personal note I want to conclude this piece – my first with the EKP, with my views on the American Tea Party.
I once supported the Tea Party movement, travelling all across Texas and the American southwest to attend rallies. As most of the people I have had the displeasure of meeting at rallies continue to support Israel, I can no longer do so in good faith. While ideologically I share much with many on the ‘Christian right’, the ideological gap that exists between us on the Jewish question -the issue most fundamental to our cause, is too great for me to any longer stand beside them. For this reason I no longer attend Tea Party rallies and have cut off all ties with my former church. Maybe I am misguided for abandoning my church of 44 years -something I have to live with on a daily basis, but i simply could not in good faith continue to listen to our pastor push his Zionist agenda. I’ve put a comments section below this story as I am interested in what people think.
